I’ll speak to your group

Fun Speaking

I love public speaking – learning and teaching combined in one act. When I speak, it is interactive and people tell me their dreams and aspirations for their gardens. I share with them why we garden, how native plants really work in a garden and how to improve the health of our planet with low-maintenance, low-water use gardening techniques.

I’ve presented before audiences of students, scientists, homeowners, Rotary and other organizations. My presentations are colorful, interactive and lively. Audience reactions are positive and they are engaged before, during and after the session.

I recently spoke at a three-day workshop at Anstine-Audubon Nature preserve, and received this compliment on my presentation from the participants and Becky Wilbanks (Resident Care Taker of the Preserve), “…loved the presentation and your enthusiasm!”

The Event Coordinator for the CLCA show wrote, “Thank you again for speaking for us again…I heard many very positive comments on your sessions. We appreciate your contribution to the 2016 Landscape Industry Show.”

And this from a student in one of my classes: “(T)hank you again for your lecture at the LIS show.  I learned a lot and I really appreciate you chatting with me about my own garden afterwards.  I’ll be working towards improving my garden with my new found knowledge.”
